This is of XXX XXXX U.S. specification XXXSS Ducatis. The bike was restored roughly four years ago for well-known Ducati collector (with static collection) by respected vintage restoration shop. Since then it has been properly commissioned and ridden X,XXX miles. The restoration included repaint by Scott Moore of Fast Finish which is color correct and has no nicks or scratches.  As with many U.S. XXXX specification XXXSS's this one came with the "race kit" which included XXmm Dellorto carbs and Conti mufflers.  The bike was restored to original condition with the exception of "gear gazer", K&N air filters and the chroming of the oil filter housing cover; all of which are easily reversed if the new owner wants XXX% originality for show purposes.
Since the restoration, few improvements (all reversible) were made to the bike to make it more enjoyable to ride.  These include:
Installation of Sachse ignition and Dyna coils/wires-huge improvement in ease of starting, stable idle and less stress on the engine due to progressive advance versus stock Ducati Electronica system (included).Tommaselli adjustable clip-ons (and longer brake and clutch cables) allow for more comfortable riding position (originals included).Brancato extended clutch actuator reduces clutch effort and Brancato oil filter magnet platform.Bevel Heaven Case Saver to eliminate case wear from the chain.LED instrument lights much brighter than stock (originals included).  Even the neutral light works properly.Disco Volante side stand makes for easier dismounts.In the last X,XXX miles and three years the following maintenance items have been done:
Fluids and filters up to date.Avon Road Rider tiresProper valve adjustment completed by experienced vintage Ducati mechanic (before and after tables provided)Rebuilt carbs (including new slides) and installed new intake manifold insulators.Installed Galfer "green" brake pads front and rear.New BatteryThe bike starts on the first or second kick and is very strong performer; no engine power issues and the bike does not leak any fluids.
