This bike is amazing. Original right down to the tires. Period correct mods include Termignoni pipes and vented clutch cover. Original cover and pipes with original carbon heal guards are included should you wish to revert to factory spec. Bike starts up and runs but has been sitting most of it's life. I've ridden it down my street but it is not registered. The tank is spotless inside no rust. have not registered it so have not ridden it much. -I didn't know whether to preserve this bike since already have another Monster or go through and change oil, filter, tires, belts, and add more miles to it.
The bike is UNCUT! When is the last time you have seen any original early carburetor bike that has not received the tail chop?
The original factory disclaimer stickers are all still in place.
There is no road rash, dents, or dings. There is one scratch on the front fender and the the seat leading lower edges have started to split but not noticeable. Zoom in on pics and you may see this.
Comes with original book and keys. Clean title signed by the previous owner as have not registered it yet. The title is from Alaska but the bike spent it's entire life in Colorado Springs. The previous owner was in the military and had all of his vehicles registered in Alaska. When first saw that, thought perhaps that is the reason for the low miles. Prior owner said the person he got the bike from had simply parked it and never looked back. If it is critical to the sale of the bike can register it in my name but would prefer not to pay the taxes and registration fees. Right now it has only been registered twice.
I really hate to let this bike go. All sales are final and the bike is sold as-is where is with no warranty. Please ask questions prior to bidding and pay the deposit when prompted.
I suggest Daily Direct/Haulbikes for shipping or you can pick the bike up yourself. Another good site is Uship where shippers can bid for your job. Haulbikes is the safest however.I can hold the bike for up to weeks. On Sep-XX-XX at XX:XX:XX PDT, seller added the following information:I will be out this weekend but will answer all emails Sunday afternoon.
