XXXX ?? Royal Enfield Interceptor TT Road Scrambler SeriesXA. Limited production British Royal Enfield and rarest of the Interceptorseries. This machine was partially restored by the former owner when purchased.The bike has less than XXXX miles on the speedometer and is believed to beoriginal mileage. The engine was apart and completely gone through andcarefully assembled to make it right. The crank was reground X.XXX under andnew bearings installed. The engine has standard pistons and new ???Total Seal??? ringsand new valves and guides. Compression is excellent. The transmission was takenapart and overhauled with new layshaft bushing and seals installed and correctlyreassembled and adjusted. Forks, brakes, lighting, and charging system have allbeen gone though. It runs strong, shifts, and drives perfectly as it should.Many new parts were installed to maintain correct stock condition (see list).All work was done by two old school British bike enthusiasts. One is aprofessional motorcycle mechanic. The bike starts easily and runs well (See theYouTube video). All frame, engine, and transmission numbers match. Recent work completed includes:- Complete engine rebuild including crank regrind and mainand rod bearings- New fork gaiters- New proper handlebars (UK made)- New battery- New side stand from Hitchcocks motorcycles (UK)- Correct Smiths gauges and speedo drive (fresh speedorebuild by Nisongers original mileage on speedo)- New correct tank side decals- New mufflers from Hitchcocks (UK made)- Cylinders honed, media blasted, and painted- New piston rings (standard bore), engine gaskets and seals- Valve job with new valves and guides- New timing chains and drive chain- Fresh tune up with new points and condenser, oil changeand filter- Transmission overhauled with new bushings and seals- Engine is excellent condition and no broken fins on headsor barrels.- Brake drums serviced and drums cleaned. Brake linings aregood with very little wear.- Original Dunlop wheel rims with no rust and perfectchrome.The chrome gas tank is original and in excellent conditionwith no dents or rust. All gauges, lighting, and horn work properly. Points andtiming are reset to specs. properly serviced and clean Interceptor.
