What we have here is very nice high mileage XXXX Harley Davidson Sportster Nightster XXXX. purchased with intent on working out the small tick in the top end of the motor then reselling it. purchased new lifters, push rod and all of the gaskets required to complete the job(was thinking maybe collapsed lifter). drained the oil and found next to no metal in the oil or on the magnet. replaced all of the parts purchased and found after starting the bike that had not fixed the small tick. will say that the bike has all the power you would expect from XXXX get up and go and everything. The bike does not smoke at all and after it runs for bit and gets hot the tick quiets down good bit. The paint on the bike is great on the tank, small bag rub on the front fender, and pretty considerable scratches and marks on the rear fender with which believe stock or regular seat would cover most of. There is small amount of rust on certain pieces of the bike here and there but mostly on the levers. The chrome is for the most part in good condition. The front Dunlop tire is couple thousand miles from needing to be replaced and the rear Dunlop is in near new condition. Everything works well on the bike from lighting, the switches and the odometer has been moved to the left side to clean up the handle bars. The handle bars are believe XX" mini apes. The sissy bar is Harley quick release. am not sure if there has been any other work done to the bike besides what have done. As for the ticking am leaning towards it being cam lobe or something like that due to the lack of metal in the oil when the work was done but can not guarantee what is exactly the problem. At any rate it has fresh Royal Purple synthetic oil in it with new filter of course. am bit overwhelmed with projects at the moment and have had this bike about months now and have decide to send it to its next owner for hopefully many more years of enjoyment.
