1994 CR 500 PEAK BIKE RESTORED UP FOR SALE IS ONE BAD ASS CR 500!!! 0. WHERE DO START WITH THIS BIKE!!!!!WELL IT HAS BEEN COMPLETELY GONE THROUGH AND ABOUT 90% OF THIS BIKE IS NEW!!!! IT STARTED AS ONE OWNER BIKE THAT IS PURCHASED FROM MY FRIEND AFTER SEEING VIDEO OF IT SITTING IN HIS RV GARAGE. IT LITERELY HAD BEEN SITTING FOR 15 YEARS. MADE THE DEAL WITH HIM AND SO STARTED THE JOURNEY OF REBUILDING THIS BEAST. HAVE BLOG ON VITALMX.COM UNDER BIKE BUILDS 1994 CR 500 RESTORATION FOR ANYONE THAT WANTS TO SEE THE BUILD PROCESS. SO HERE IS LIST OF WHATS NEW ON THE BIKE. FRAME: Everything was stripped down to the bare frame. Frame was then blasted and powder coated summit white from the guys at Concept powder coating in rancho Cucamonga. swing arm was stripped and cleaned to give it the factory look. PLASTICS: All the plastics are new including: Tank, front and rear fenders, side panels, number plate, front radiator shrouds, fork guards, rear mud guard, carb rubber intake boot. Even the rear disc brake protector is new, along with brake line guides. GRAPHICS: All new peak Honda graphics and seat cover installed. MOTOR: Motor was taken apart and all new seals, gaskets, where replaced. had the parts vapor blasted to give it the new factory finish. Carb was rebuilt with new seals and parts also was vapor blasted. New Weisco Top end installed. BRAKES: Front and rear brake calipers were taken apart and vapor blasted. all new seals and rubber rebuild kits were installed along with new brake pads. Front and rear master cylinders were vapor blasted and rebuilt as well. SUSPENSION: Rear shock was taken apart and rebuilt with new rubbers bearings. Spring was powder coated to match the color of the graphics, Dark Blue. Front forks were taken apart and serviced as well. STEERING: Steering was taken apart and new bearings installed on the triple clamps and frame. Tripple Clamps were vapor blasted. WHEELS: Wheels are new Excel Black with new spokes. Hubs where blasted and then cerekoted bronze. There are new dunlap MX 32 Tires on the front and rear. Those are pretty much the big items. Now for bunch more new items. BRAND NEW: Renthal bars with new pad and black anodized aluminum triple clamp bar mount. New gripsNew Pro Taper quick adjust clutch mount. New throttle and clutch cables.New Radiators and blue radiator hoses.New PRO-CIRCUIT pipe and silencer.New D.I.D. gold series chain and Black Talon rear sprocket with 48TNew Black anodized chain guide rail. New Steel braided front and rear brake lines.New IMS Pro series footpegs.New Twin Air Filter.New Boyseen factory outer covers both clutch and ignition.New Tusk Aluminum Shift level.New tank gas cap. All bolts, nuts, washers are new with exception to motor mounts, shock/fork bolts.All hoses/gas lines/filters/gas petcock new.I think that about covers it all. I'm sure I'm missing some things but it pretty much sums up this build. It took me about 3-4 months to complete as parts are becoming harder to find. This bike will make one hell of show piece or be one of the nicest 500's out at the track. No expense was spared on this build. made sure it would turn heads. have it listed locally as well and may end auction early if right buyer comes around. can also work with shipping if needed.
