It has an electric starter as well as the kick-starter firesright up with no problems and settles into quiet purrrrr like vintage BMWshould. Smooth shifting speed gearbox. It's not an oil leaker either. On theroad it??�s no slouch either but you do have to remember you are riding vintagebike (mechanical brakes!!!) ??� super-fun to ride. I??�ve taken it to few vintagebike night rides and it??�s real head-turner.
