Available here is very well built "conversion", starting with XXXX RXX/X frame, which came stock with all the reinforcements left off late XX's and early XX's versions.
It will come with original, matching numbers "short-block", in case anyone would ever want to convert back to stock, for ultimate collector value.
It will also come with most of complete Earles Fork assembly that needs stripping, painting and likely new shock components, too.

Firstly, please feel free to reach out to me at XXX.XXX.XXXX, if you have any questions.
If you're fairly serious, do prefer personal conversation, as much more ground can be covered than forever emailing through the ebay system.

THIS BIKE WAS CONVERTED WITH THE FOLLOWING:

**Super low mile  RXXX/X engine, perfect heads, cylinders, pistons, inspected, re-sealed
**Extra capacity oil pan
**X-speed transmission with NO miles..... rebuilt by Internationally renowned Matt Parkhouse
**Perfect clutch
**Perfect heads, super presentable "Peanut" style valve covers
**Completely rebuilt BING carburetors
**K&N type air filters
**Custom Airbox Elimination starter-cover
**New /X Wiring harness
**Valeo style hi-torque, low draw starter

**Excel High lip Alloys with stainless spokes (built by Buchanan)
**Good splines on (/X) final drive and rear hub
**Good driveshaft
**Converted Swing-Arm
**Good brake material.
**New Tires
**Rebuilt "US" model front front-end/forks,bearings etc.
**Progressive S-type fork springs
**/X fork brace, shortened about X" for dropping fender closer to wheel
**New Gaiters
**New Tapered head-stock bearings
Needs fender tab welded to it, for supporting top of fender. No holes drilled in fender for that yet.
**RXX front fender, w/original holes blanked out.
**Custom lower fender brace. (looks completely stock....powder-coated, too)
**Powder-coated fork sliders and lower triple tree.

**Genuine HELLA bar-end blinkers
**Adjustable Albert style Headlight mirrors
**Rebuilt Handlebar switches
**Powder-coated handlebar perches

** "Rennshield" windscreen (that was hard to get, as Phil, the builder was out of business for while).
**/X headlight bucket and speedometer,
**Old-School HX bulb and reflector
**Good tire pump
**Original frame paint (still very presentable/clean)
**Super straight sheet-metal (except one headlight brace has ding....but will include good one)
**Fenders powder-coated and hand-striped
**Perfect Denfeld driver seat w/perfect seat and good seat-shock rubber
**Stainless Steel passenger grab-rail attached to rear of driver seat
**Funky-cool (aftermarket-import-type) rear passenger pillion loaf on stock fender rack.
**Hardware on fender rack set up for quick disconnect/reconnect of passenger solo seat (not available or included)

An additional word or two, about some of the above bullet point items:

Engine was from low mile XXXX RXXX/X. My mechanic took it apart, inspected everything as perfect and re-assembled it with Lucas assembly lube.
He got it to the point of starting and running with an "I.V." fuel system on his bike stand.
All wiring was connected to all the essentials (lights etc, and have vide of it running).
This was all performed by two local and competent local BMW mechanics.
All components functioned as they should and engine is super healthy.
No further attention is needed for engine, transmission or drive-line.

While these bikes are typically liked for their look with Earles forks, decided to go with telescopic front end.
In wanting to retain sort of an RXX look, we powder-coated the lowers and the lower triple tree plate, to give it darker, retro-look. Handling will be superior over Earles, but if you wanted to convert to Earles, as mentioned, it will be included.

The front fender we used is from an RXX and before powder-coating, it had all original mounting holes blanked out. It has been been re-positioned (lowered and rotated), so as to hold closer to the tire and to be more true to the radius of the front wheel. (Take look at any RXX or RXXUS and compare, and you'll see what mean)
The fork brace is from Slash-X and was professionally shortened and and this makes the way the fender hugs the front wheel, to look way better than stock RXX"US" model.
The lower front fender brace was custom-made and it looks just like stock. It is powder coated, as are both fenders, which are hand striped.

The frame is still in original paint and the bike was not built for show. This is just super clean bike, so you might find extremely non-noteworthy cosmetic imperfections here and there, but you can feel good about riding it. believe it will be among the nicest looking conversions on any road.

Again, it sports Excel Hi-Lip Alloy wheels, which purchased for over Xk from an individual who had them on bike for few thousand miles. was told they were built up by Buchanan's, with stainless spokes, of course. They look great and add special touch to the overall look. Chrome "hubcaps".

The EPCO stainless exhaust pipes are from another bike and are mildly used but look amazingly presentable. They sound great, as I've had that very same kind before.  word about EPCO??..great exhaust......once you succeed in securing it, which could take "a while" to say the least. could go on for while about my X-month long phone calling experience..... Just read all the blogs.

Theincluded VanFarowe stainless side-stand is simply the best in the market for function, bike angle when parked and for blend into the landscape of the machine. WAYYY better than Flanders. Not even in the same universe. AWESOME customer service, by stark contrast to above.

Everything looks great front to back

Here is what would consider as the  "X.X%" of unfinished work:
This has been year project and am now into Norton Commandos, plus we are moving and have other unfinished Norton projects.
You finish, as have lost my motivation!

For anyone who has worked on bikes, it will be laughable how little needs to be done:
Again had two local BMW mechanics to get to its' current state, where I've seen it run and with everything in the wiring tested as working.
We did that without the rear fender on, so the lighting was tested with just wire ends from the newharness, which still needs to be connected to
**the rear tail light,
**the horn
**the neutral switch
**the rear brake switch.
This means that the rear fender will be loosely bolted on

The only thing left to do besides that is to make tab to weld on the fork brace, so as to attach the top of my custom RXX Fender and to paint, powder-coat or re-chrome the fender brace, once the new tab has been welded on.
And since this bike has not been put on the road as conversion yet, some things like brake and other minor adjustment will still need to happen.

Again, please feel free to reach out to me at XXX.XXX.XXXX, if you have any questions.

I may end up advertising in other media, so reserve the right to close auction early.I welcome personal, local inspection or for hired mechanic to come and look at the bike.

The close-up engine pictures is how that looks at present.
The pictures taken outside are with the rear and front fenders mocked up, as each will need to be final-mounted after above mentioned work is taken care of.

THANKS FOR LOOKING!
You will not be disappointed! On Sep-XX-XX at XX:XX:XX PDT, seller added the following information:Just added close-up engine picture that thought was included in first upload.

To add to my description, please notice that for replicating the raised BMW letters on /X engine block, customized/trimmed-down pair of /X starter cover badges and trimmed out the BMW lettering and secured them to both sides of the engine.

Clarification RE: Epco exhaust verbiage, when said that it took some effort to "secure" it, meant that to mean it took great deal of effort to acquire it from EPCO, not securing it...as in.... bolting it onto the bike.

Also, the pictured battery in the full bike pictures was purchased when the project was started, but it is years old now and and has been used in couple of bikes in the mean time. As as such, is not holding full charge. can include it, since it is pictured, but it is Ballistic brand Lithium-Ion type that takes special charger. So unless you have one, it won't do you any good. I'm keeping my charger for other like batteries (that are not the right size and capacity for this bike).

again, thanks for your interest and bids.
