This bike was nice complete bike XX years ago, and the owner disassembled it and began restoring it. He brought the engine to Harley Davidson of Indianapolis and had the engine completely rebuilt, sparing no expense. couple of years later he was killed and his wife still had the engine at her house, along with most of the disassembled bike. The sheet metal was in storage unit and the rent became delinquent, thus the contents of the storage unit was sold. His wife was moving to Florida about years ago, and friend of mine heard that she wanted to sell the bike, and drove down to Florida and purchased it. Two years ago he still had not done nothing to the bike, and decided that he would sell it to me.
I brought the bike to Larry Gee in North Carolina and he began the restoration/build of the bike. The engine and transmission was completely disassembled, inspected and refreshed again by Ben's V-Twin in Indian Trail, NC. The engine cases have matching belly numbers and there are no signs of previous damage on them. The frame, forks and XX% original with only the following reproduction parts:
* Flanders risers and handle bars^ Electronic regulator* Seat by Heather's Leathers* Intake Manifold have the original but didn't like the fit)* Speedometer* Taillight is an original VL bracket modified with Vincent tai light
The rest of the bike has all original parts on it including, ignition switch, headlamp, oil tank, tool box, kicker, air cleaner, shifter & gate and much more. The gas tanks and dash board are original XXXX and the fenders are custom bobbed VL fenders. The bike always starts on the first kick and runs and rides perfect. It only has XX break-in miles on it since the restoration and also has belt primary conversion.
