 .Beautiful original paint Harley Just quick note, you could get these bikes with the solid paint without the decals.  This bike and others just like it were ordered from dealership near Marion Ohio and went into police service and this one was kept by the purchaser.  This bike had the police speedo on it when bought it.  I bought this bike from former motorcycle cop and can connect you with him if you like.  That is after you buy. Survived the chopper days. The title has XXXXX but it is exempt with these old bikes  The engine and tranny have been rebuilt and the bike runs great. The only proof have of the rebuilds is hand written log. According to the log pretty much everything has been rebuilt. The only thing on the engine that is not original is the heads, they are S&S and very nice. You can only tell by the markings on the heads. Original hard to find mufflers that are beautiful. The chrome is dual in places and the rims have  surface rust. There are some spots in the paint but all in all the bike is XX year old piece of Harley history. It starts right up and does not drip one drop of oil. The bike starts and goes down the road well. The front brake pulsates little but can be an easy fix. The needle on the stewart warner/harley speedo jumps so there is an issue there. It keeps the mileage correctly and the trip works. If you are looking for bike that is at least XX percent original you got it with this bike. Tires and battery are good. bought new tire that goes with it to match the front original tire. Also there are CP-XXXX's all over this bike. Many don't know they still used these at that time but the had lots left over and used them. Also the right fuel cap is an eaton don't know how to I.D. the left cap cause it is longer. Also tail light has the original lens with all the proper markings also tail light body has the correct markings. Don't wait too long on this one. already have very interested parties. Thanks for your interest. Also have original rails and the ignition key is the original briggs and stratton.
