XXXX Harley Davidson Duo Glide Motorcycle Engine Number ?�XXFLXXXXThis is an exceptional original paint unrestored XXXX Harley Davidson one family owned motorcycle. brought it from the XX year old son two months ago, he brought it from his father in XXXX, he told me his father only rode or times from new, as you can see from the pictures below, it is in would say exceptional condition for XX year old used motorcycle. This bike is about as original as XX year old ?�motorcycle as you will ever find completely unmolested, with original paint on all parts with all original chrome and all original plating and accessories the same as the day it was brought from Los Angeles dealership, still with its original tires, everything on this bike is as it came from the factory with the exception of three things he lost the battery cover during its dry storage every winter replaced with an old after market one seen below, the white section of the buddy seat has been replaced although not the white skirt part he told me it yellowed and cracked the seat also the foam is starting to get hard and flaky out the holes on the bottom, and thirdly the top clear section of the windscreen he told me yellowed and he also replaced it. Original owner also told me the odometer stopped working around XXXXX miles as you can see it jumped out of it cradle and he said it maybe put another XXX or or on it since then the speedometer and trip meter work fine ?�It runs very well with no smoke or leaks, the transmission shifts with the familiar Panhead feel and goes through all gears exactly as it should, it starts easily and runs great, although have only run it twice, just came to the conclusion it is too nice for my dusty cold garage like to use my bikes hard, this is so nice it really deserve to be in collectors collection or better environment All the electrics are in full working condition, including all lights, horn, charging system etc. neutral light does not come on could be the bulb. These late model Panhead's have nice bit of torque, and it will go as fast as you could possibly want to go on an old machine. This particular bike is very nice to ride very smooth and enjoyable vintage machine that is good for long and short distance rides, it's large brakes are quite good for the period but obviously not as good as modern breaks, the tires are still very good but are bit old now for the road, the chrome rims are still bright the cad plating on the spokes is very nice, the rest of the chrome on this bike is still very good and well above average, there are no dents in any of the body work, some light wear as seen around the petcock. The exhaust and mufflers look good. have not detailed or really cleaned this motorcycle it is as found it it could be lot brighter with proper detailing just wiped it down with soft cloth thats all have done, still has original headstock lock and original keys. Overall this bike has stunning original patina and in my opinion is just how you would want to find an old original motorcycle which runs and rides great and as near to perfect as you will ever find think wrench looks to have never been on this beautiful machine. will let the XX pictures below do the talking, bottom one show it the day got it and original owner holding it.
