In good condition for the age (She's XX years old this year!) Just MOT'd and ready to go
Brand new Pirelli Sports demon tires, only done about XX miles, still need scrubbed in.
Painted wheels, tank, and fairings, nice metallic blue with candy top coat. The decals have not been lacquered over so can be removed and redone to your taste?, polished rims, full stainless exhaust (motad), has some scrapes on the silencer, but works well, have micron end can here that will throw in. was going to graft on, but didn't want to cut the original Motad one as it works well and sounds great. The clocks have crack in the perspex, but have gone over it with some clear stick on film, so they are watertight.
The bike starts first push of the button and runs great. Everything works as it should.
I had fixed up the bike about years ago, and I've hardly had the chance to use it, its just been gathering dust at the back of my shed. pulled it out and stripped and cleaned the brakes, changed the fork oil seals and filled with fresh oil and put some fresh fuel in and she ran great, it failed the mot on the back wheel bearings which had bit of play, so new set have just been fitted.
When fixed her up about years ago, did lot of work, as follows,
Repaired and painted the fairings, tank wheels etc. and polished the wheel rims, which are in great condition, new tires fitted, brakes overhauled, with new disks and pads all round, rear linkage was stripped cleaned and greased, serviced, new seat cover. also have the matching seat cowl, but have not fitted it as didn't want to punch holes in the new seat cover!
The bike is plate (QXXX XSC), don't ask me why. have no idea!, bought it like that, the numbers match the papers, and have had no problem getting insurance for her, it was ??XXX last year fully comp.
I have one original key that fits all the locks, and the VX in my name.
