Trusty old Transalp for sale as no longer have the time or space to get her back on the road.
I have owned the Transalp since XXXX and she has been utterly reliable during the XXXX miles have put on her, only needing battery every three years.
Very comfortable and easy to ride and everything was working fine when laid it up for the winter.
However when took off the covers last week the clutch was seized so could not start it. Further investigation discovered the crankcase full of petrol so i'm guessing must have left the fuel tap on prime or the tap is defective.
I had low speed off last year and there is damage to the lower fairings and the cowl around the clocks. She's not the prettiest anymore but would make great restoration project or cheap hack.
In my opinion the old twin engine is one of Honda's best with loads of torque. Just stick it in top and it picks up from XXmph with no snatch to just over the XXX.
Good tyres and I'll chuck in excellent condition spare rear wheel in gold if the auction goes well.
I have just returned from living abroad and have sent the VX to the DVLA but have not had it back yet.
No MOT and does not run so will need van or trailer to collect.

Just been informed by DVLA that the bike will have to re-registered in the UK. have completed the NOVA declaration and have the VXX ready to fill out. It was previously UK registered vehicle so should be straightforward and costs just ??XX
