PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION?�Selling my XXXX Honda CBXXX GX bought this bike last year with view to restoring her. The bike is in very good condition for its age. Very rare and collectable appreciating classic with lovely cool patina. Unfortunately deciding to sell after knee op last year, mucking around with old bikes isn't so much fun anymore managed to get an mot last August and had great time riding the bike until the fuel tank started leaking. The last owner had pet sealed it but this started to fail. ?�I've managed to get all the pet seal out and had the tank repaired professionally with welded plates on the bottom. Unfortunately it's still leaking from another pin hole. ?�Therefore although the bike was running have now drained the tank and it will need further work to stop the fuel leak and to be able to run the engine again .Further when the ignition key is turned the bike turns over without pressing the start button and won't stop on kill switch. Obviously it can be started on kick start until ignition switch fault is fixed ?�Think it may be trapped ?�or shorted wire in the ignition. ?�The carb floats may also need clean as sometimes sticking when bike is cold until carb chambers are?�tapped (so over flows fuel until unstuck) once unstuck they work fine .The previous owner has replaced one of the cylinders and this still needs another XXX miles to run in.?�?�This is great very low mileage (XXXXX miles) solid ?�rare bike that just needs little time spent on it to get back on the road for this summer.With the bike comes lots of spares including spare forks these need changing as ones on the bike are not great but the spares look very good three new seat covers plus wheels and shiny indicators and few other parts as shown in the pictures. Also two workshop manuals The bike comes with two keys with VX in my name showing only previous owners from new. The bike being XXXX is tax exempt and has an mot until August XX XXXX ?�?�I am selling this bike as light restoration project or spares or repair as can't show it running because of the leaking fuel tank leak so please don't expect to ride away. had the bike running few weeks back before removed pet seal from the tank and got the plates welded but now without pet seal it leaks quickly.
