His goal was to ride bikes until he and my mum were XX. Well they carried on riding past their XXst birthdays! We want this bike to go to someone who is going to carry on having fun on it. The Blackbird is fabulous Sports Touring bike, and it's following is enormous. This bike is ten years old Dad bought it in September XXXX, to compliment his Honda VFR, and he and Mum, being part of the Honda Owners Club, rode all over the UK on it. Yes, she has some scratches and scuffs, but no serious damage. She has been exceptionally well looked after, never out in the cold and wet, and always stored under cover in garage. When Dad bought the bike she did not come with the cowl to convert to single seat or the grab handles for the pillion rider. Dad added the GiVi top box so as to make it comfortable for mum on day rides, and so that they could take what they needed for trips away.
We have had the bike valued by several people businesses, and we know what the bike is worth. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, however, if it is technical we may have to "ask biking friend" who knows this Blackbird very well. You are welcome to come and view the bike in Sutton Coldfield. If you wish to check for HPI etc registration of the bike is KUXX WPT.
Part of the money from the sale of this bike will be going to Cancer Research and Prostate Cancer UK, both excellent charities, and to St Giles Hospice, without whom we would not have been able to care for Dad at home.
The bike is advertised elsewhere so may be removed before the end date of the auction
