I bought this rare XXXX Honda CBXX with plans of recapturing my youth but unfortunately had bad motorcycle accident (on different bike) which is why have decided to sell this one on. Prior to me buying the bike few months ago she had been in dry storage since XXXX. Being XX years old she is also tax exempt.
Prior to my accident got the bike up and running as she should, have replaced the drive chain, secondary drive chain, rear sprocket, plugs plus plug caps and HT leads. repaired the speedo clock which wasn't working and she also has new battery. had lot of interest in the bike the first time she was listed but people were put off by the prospect of sealing the fibreglass tank so have now done this myself using Caswell Epoxy Tank Sealer which is supposedly the best product for the job.
The only outstanding job now is to replace the speedo drive mechanism as the original is missing.
These bikes have become pretty rare so if you want classic that will turn heads then this is your bike! If you have any questions please ask, viewings are welcome. Cash on collection only from Exeter, Devon.
