This old bike was true beast in its day. XXXX was the year of manufacture, and unfortunately is now in retirement. It has not ran for at least years as the initial adventure to restore it has been put on the back burner now for one too many years. Bought in XXXX and ridden through to XXXX, it brought many klm's of enjoyment. After investigating to why she started running rough, small cracks in the carby diaphragm were found, which resulted in the rough ride and backfiring. So began the short lived journey of restoration. Time has been an issue and therefore the bike has sat for the last years, with carby's removed for the last X years. This would be great project for someone with time, money and an understanding of the older bikes as I'm sure there is more than meets the eye in this restoration. There is no reserve on the bike as it needs some major mechanical attention. Normal wear and tear  is to be expected on an old bike like this. Seat has some small rips, fairing has small cracks and is becoming brittle, paint is scrubbed and scratched in places etc etc. Klm's shows approx. XX,XXX but had new speedometer fitted at approximately XXX,XXXklms. Bike is being sold as is. Never pursued restoration so NO spare parts come with this bike. Removal is at buyers own expense. Pick up only.Happy Bidding !!
