This Bike was owned by my father for over yrs, I know very little about it except what have been told by mechanics just recently.Speedo XXXXX MILES Engine no. ZXE XXXXXXChassis no. QUHXXX . ve had few questions about this topic of chassis number... So Yesterday researched the subject with kawasaki australia and with Queensland transport .I obtained pages XX and XX from parts books by kawasaki heavy industries Ltd XXXX KZXXX-AX.. Which shows-- Ref.No.X .. part No. XXXXX-XXX .. Part Name FRAME.So frames were available as spare part. And when they were subject to new rego or change of registration details chassis number was issued by qld transport. At qld transport requested and received printed current details of registration. can send you pictures if you text me.
These pics of the bike are part of the description, Inspection invited, Oxenford area.. The bike is rego so it can be test ridden (with me on the back), Engine goes good, but would suggest tune and service. Gears all change ok, Clutch and brakes work good. Gauges work ok, lights etc work, I've ridden this bike each week to keep it good. The paint work has few dents and scratches. same with the chrome guards, Plenty of surface rust. Exhaust also have dents and scratches. It's XX yrs old so bit of restoring wouldn't go astray. It won't pass RWC for these reasons.. tyres are old. think about Xyrs, although it rides ok, The rear wheel has spokes missing, rear brake light switch is intermittent, All electrics are good and battery charges ok.. But Ignition has some strange thing, when you turn the key off it keeps running..£ you have to kill the engine with the kill switch.A $X,XXX-XX deposit at the end of bidding, and balance at pick up.Interstate buyers will have to get there own transport, believe there are M/C transport people who pick up and deliver door to door.
