Up for sale is my much loved bike. Bit of story but ill keep it brief.
I have always wanted replika bike but due to cost was always concerned about price and then risk to value when riding. As such thought id do full restore to standard RXXXXs have all the photos of progress throughout). bought the bike from dealer in QLD (picture of orange bike shows original condition and paint scheme) and had it trucked to NSW. 
Over months then proceeded to:?�         Disassemble, clean and examine entire bike?�         Replace the gearbox with reconditioned unit, including new bearings and seals on input/outputs shaft and shafts/gearsets themselves. ($XXXX)?�         New clutch assembly ($XXX)?�         Replace stock brake lines with SS braid ($XXX)?�         Replace the Clutch master and slave cylinders ($XXXX expense)?�         New tyres?�         New Brake pads?�         New oils, filters, throttle body balance and major service including drivetrain lubes and oils change and service.?�         Bought new pillion seat cover and matched belly pan ($XXX)?�         All plastics blasted back to bare then repainted in BMW coded colours by panelbeater.?�         Genuine BMW replica stickers ordered from the US and placed on fairings ($XXX)?�         New light set including LED taillight (with correct colour matched lenses in white) ($XXX)?�         Rims blasted and resprayed in hardened two pac paint.?�         Fuel tank flushed and cleaned?�         Staintune exhaust system ($XXXX)Once completed and reassembled it was like brand new bike. It would have done about XX,XXX kms since with regular oil changes (X,XXXkms) and major services completed by Brisans in Newcastle.
It has been knocked over by someone who neglected to own up to it or leave note about months later. As such it does have scuff on the rocker head cover and couple of cracks and small chips in the body work and fairings as well as one small chip on the RHS indicator lens. Biggest visual impact is that the indicator housing fairings have cracked tab off each next to the instrument cluster. None of this damage has been significant beyond the visual however and from more than foot away it still looks perfect. debated fixing these issues but as it does not hurt the overall visual of the bike left it alone. Up to you to agree with that or not.
In the past months it has also had new battery and new front tyre (less than XXX kilometres on it). also have purchased spare set of throttle bodies, had them relined and balanced, then had them installed on the bike and balanced by Brisans (total cost $XXX).
In addition the bike will be coming with the spare, original gearbox ready for rebuild, the centre stand, original light, spare throttle bodies and other assorted parts.
It is beautiful bike to ride and very torqey. Keeps up with Japanese super XXX??�s in straight lines but leaves them for dead in curves due to its balance and torque. It is striking bike in the motorsport colours and liveries and has plenty of life left in her, especially with almost new gear box and all other parts. It does have XXX,XXX kms on it but don??�t let that put you off ??� it has no issues and these engines are good for another XXXK. Price is also reflective of kms.
I need to sell due to having company car with new job and having no time to use it anymore. also need to buy tractor for the farm so need some extra money. Currently unregistered but will register for new owner. Happy to leave unregistered if requested and will reduce price by $XXX. For deposit can transport to Newcastle or Sydney. cash on collection. have some tarmac on the property so there is an opportunity to ride here. Currently stored in Clarence Town NSW.
