Selling my XXXX TZR XXX race/track bike. bought the bike two seasons ago from another vintage racer in the Kansas City area who had one to many bikes and had to let one go. When got the bike, it ran well but needed some tuning and some cleaning but overall was in good shape for being race bike its whole life. have done X-XX track days on it in the last two summers but nothing this season time/health/money) but has performed flawlessly after the first time getting the jetting right for Omaha area elevation...FUN BIKE! The history on the bike got from the previous owner, knows the bike went to Florida via Canada and then to Kansas/Missouri area after couple owners. The bikes racing parts were bought through dealer in Ontario Canada..have proof of that and were Factory Yamaha TZR race parts. The history after that is ££ until The guy bought it from acquired it and then bought it, do have that individuals info if you require it before/after purchase.
The parts on the bike are the:Close ratio X-speed trannyRace crank shaft tapered for the Race CDI ignitionRace pistons-exrtra set of Wiseco pistons-pins-clips and rings all new...pistons were used but all within tolerance. do have another box of pistons/rings but not much info on these?Barrels were ported to race specs and do have another set that are honed and ready to go with the Wiseco's.Extra cylinder head.Carbs are Mikuni XXmm jetted for XXX-XXXX ft elevation.Pipes are out of the race catalogHas progressive fork springs up frontHas rear Ohlins race shock...works good for lighter rider around XXX-XXX...I'm two twenty with gear on.Magnesium Rear race rim. Fron wheel is standard TZR with FZR front rotor.RK race chain.The tire are Bridgestone BT-XXX race tires with track days on them...small bike longer tire life.The bike does not have battery but has separate rechargeable battery for the power valve and that has switch to turn on/off. The tach is Scitsu from England and is wireless but requires charger for that...works great, have charger for both tach and power valve.The body work is all fiberglass and think its and old Jap set-up or something from Air-tech streamline? I have extra tranny parts/two cranks/engine case/ gas tank and lots of what not for it.Will give bill of sale with bike and have it notarized for you.
The bike requires push start or wheel starter to fire. just push it in second gear about XX-XX feet with choke on and it fire right up. have used nothing but Maxim oil product since have had it and have had no problems. did repaint the bike but did not spend big bucks on it incase of fall and did have the rims powder coated gold for the classic look. The bike is very fun and is conversation piece at the track. think you will have lots of fun with it. do have picture of the guys name in Florida but will not post due to privacy issues. The bike does not have Kick stand but will give you the stand that have for shipping purposes. The bikes are hard to find in the United States and think you will get yourself nice bike for fair price. Please make sure you use shipper that will take the extra parts with them because some wont and that will get expensive and you want these!
