About the FXS LowRider, It was born in XXXX, this bike is first year of production.
Harley made an original run of XXX of these in mid XXXX
Each Harley dealer got ONE. They were initially promotional item.
Harley then went into production when they found out the FXS was "hit".
Dubbed the FXS, it was the first of Harley's "factory customs", many of which proved so popular with buyers that they are highly coveted among Harley aficionados.
The lowrider FXS comes with inch fork extension (from the factory)
The Lowrider had the lowest seating position any bike in the HD lineup at bee's dick under XX" from the road to your arse. Fantastic for anyone with shorter inseem or in fact anyone who's looking for that low slung factory custom ride. The Lowrider also had unique factory steering head angle of XX degrees to give it that custom raked frame look
The origional XXXX XXXXcc shovelhead engine, making XX odd horsepower has been raplaced with XXXX larger XXXXcc higher compression shovelhead motor, the extra capacity good for XXhp when bog standard. With the free flowing exhaust and high flow air cleaner and S&S Super carby, this figure has increased by another XXhp with corresponding jump in torque output.
