1968 Triumph Daytona

Vintage XXXX Triumph Daytona TXXXR Running Project Matching Numbers Cafe 

Bike is in overall good shape for its age, and is somewhat rare being dual carb model.  Has matching numbers and clean, Arizona title.  I bought it to clean some things up on it and repaint it. Unfortunately never got around to doing most of what wanted to do.  Bike was not running when bought it, but over the course of few months tinkering here and there, did get it running.  Ignition switch is out getting broken key extracted, but will be back on by the end of the auction. don't believe there are any reproduction parts on the bike.  Will need the carbs adjusted as it is choppy at speed.  Clutch plates stuck after rode it last and let it sit, but transmission shifted into all gears well.  Cam cover gasket leaks.  Wiring harness has been spliced in few places, and new reproduction harness was my next item to tackle.  This would be an easy project to clean up and have solid rider.  I've got too many irons in the fire and not enough space, so this one is on the chopping block.  Great first bike or restoration project.
