Offered for sale my XXXX Suzuki XXX. bought it as non runner year ago and spent plenty getting it here. Recent tyres,new fork seals and motobatt battery were just few of the bits needed for mot. ended up scrapping the original carburetors as the floats and other service parts were knackered. opted for an imported 'dirty' bank for the same model from an american breakers. As you can imagine they weren't cheap. After extensive cleaning and balancing fitted them and the bike now runs as it should (remember its XX yrs old). use it everyday at the moment so the miles may creep up little. It is very comfortable riding position and and is real head turner. THE BIKE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN FOREWARD....I am no restorer or mechanic but have been told with some tlc it could easily be show bike. am not precious about it and am pleased was able to take it this far. The bad bits: all plastics are showing wear and are slightly scruffy. The fuel gauge will need rewiring as it currently doesn't work. One of the intake pipes has split and is currently gaffer taped...I have suzuki replacement but as the bike runs good at moment have left the running repair in situ.The tank will need respray as the paintwork is XX shades of white. If you want grunty smile inducing bike look no further...its bit of fun and unless you seriously poke it,it won't bite.Poss p/x for sorted Hornet/Fazer/cbrXXX. Please do not bid without first viewing
