For sale is Yamaha XTXXX. First point to note is that this motorcycle is registered on Q-plate and it states on the VX document "non-tranferable registration mark" and "was registered and/or used. manufacture date unknown". From the parts on the bike have estimated that this is XXXX model. bought this bike as non-runner and did lot of work to get it working, roadworthy and through its MOT however am getting some problems with it at the moment and don't have the space to work on it anymore. basically there is problem with the engines lubrication system, it burns lot of oil which is indicating to me stem seals or piston rings. another problem is that with this being dry sumped bike the oil is not staying in the oil tank and it sometimes collects in the crankcase which makes me think another seal has gone in the engine possibly behind the scavenger pump. This bike is currently non-runner. so long story short the engine needs pulling out and some work done on it. well worth the work though because when this bike is running it sounds sweet!The overall condition of the bike is pretty good, the paint on the engine is peeling off but the frame is solid and paintwork is in good condtion. the tank and seat are also in good condition. the tires need replacing (were advisories on MOT) The Price for the bike is ??XXXX and will not take offers. love this bike to bits and don't really want to get rid of it because know how rare and collectable they are. so if nobody is willing to fork out the cash for it then shall just keep hold of it.I have given very honest description of the bike and if anybody has any questions or would like to view the bike (which is advised) then send me message.ThanksLewis
