Hi! and thank you for looking at my XXXX Yamaha TMax XXX.Ok, ???Why so cheap?!???, hear you cry. ???Its too good to be true?!??? Well yes and no.Heres the scoop.....I have been out of the country for few months and declared this bike SORN, and naturally let my insurance run out. On my return (a few days ago), was going to sell the bike. However, on April XX something some blighter stole it off of my drive way. Grrrrr??�.It was recovered couple of days after and have collected it, as I??�m not going to let the thieving b*****ds win!Please note, the bike MUST be collected by XX/XX/XXHere are the pros and cons.
ProsThis bike runs absolutely perfectly and has been my regular runner in and out of town. It is awesome for this.Removable back box.Heated hand gripsFull TOUCAN waterproof leg covers, and handlebar covers. (Currently removed off of bike and stored (see pics)) Even have the original packaging.Oxford Aquatex cover.Service History and generally well maintained.All original manuals etc.New Battery & will throw in optimate charger, for cold weather. :)NOT insurance write-off. (HPI MAY list it as stolen recovered).It goes like the clappers and rides like proper motorcycle, not scooter. It really does.Is amazing on the motorway, cruises happily at XX+ and has full fairing so no feeling like you??�re in boxing match!Upgraded dipped beam bulb. Bright at night!Steering lock and ignition absolutely working fine.You can ride her home! (see below)
ConsRough black spray paint job. Yeah, they gave it the once over with black spray paint. The paint is hardly staying on the panels and after doing some research, you will be able to bath the panels (as they are coloured PVC NOT painted) with chemical of your choice and then jet wash it off, or alternatively I??�ve been told it should all come off with an air pressure gun, or perhaps even just high power jet wash and some perseverance! The bike is actually nice safe Yellow! (See Pics)Left wing mirror This has mysteriously disappeared! HOWEVER have replacement on order and will be replaced by the time you pick up.One of the under seat catches has been broken off (see pics). However the other catch works fine and if you didn??�t know it wasn??�t there you couldn??�t tell the difference in regards to the security of the under seat storage. It locks soundly.Numberplate missing, but have all the paperwork and you can easily get new one. If you wanted to drive it away, can arrange and add on the cost.Needs an MOT can arrange this, but the cost of the MOT (NOT any parts (apart from Number Plate)), will be added. will ensure that this bike has full MOT if you want to ride it away and am so confident that it will pass, will front the bill for any parts. Cant say fairer than that! Payment for the bike will have to be upfront via paypal. However Please message me if this is something you require as will need to book this in, in advance.General wear and tear for bike of this age, but in general its very presentable.
I have tried to be as honest in regards to the issues and the way see it you basically have options.
You don??�t care about the look of the bike and just want reliable and sound commuter. You would have to change the logbook to show black as the colour however.You give it proper respray in black.A bit of TLC and elbow grease on the bodywork and you will have bike of double the value you bought it for, and she will serve you well for years to come.
