up for auction is my XXXX yamaha rX. its covered XXk miles. yamaha service stamps in the book, all keys including red key, all old MOTs.
i have owned the bike since december XXXX and have covered Xk miles. ive only had problem which was the battery went flat when it was cold in january. have replaced the battery (X/X/XX) it now starts on the button as it did before the battery died.
when bought the bike replaced the chain and both sprockets (renthal sprockets and ek chain). it has an aftermarket exhaust (MTC), double bubble screen, short levers (cheap chinese ones but seem fine apart from they have faded) and R&G crash bungs, cotton reels and bar ends. also have genuine single seat cowl to go with the bike and haynes manual.
the current MOT runs out may XXth XXXX. changed the spark plugs, oil and filter on XX/X/XX mileage was XXXXX. the bike passed its MOT on X/X/XX with advisories.
Xst was the chain is slightly loose will correct this before the auction ends)
Xnd was the front tyre is getting close to legal limit. will not be changing the tyre. the new owner can choose which ever tyre they would like. both tyres are currently bridgestone btXXX.
it does have an alarm fitted with certificate but the previous owner told me it doesnt work so ive never tried it.
the bike has rattle which quietens down when the clutch is applied. ive taken the bike to yamaha because was concerned, they told me it sounds like an rX!.
any inspection is welcomed and would reccomend viewing before bidding if possible (im on the Isle of Wight) will happily meet at any ferry port on the island for people to view the bike. dont mind test rides if full asking price is in my hand. or can take you out on it.
