YAMAHA FZXXX XFN XXXXPlease note this is collection by buyer only (no postage). Cash on collection please. It is for UK only. No overseas buyers. Bike is located in Poulton Le Fylde, Lancashire. Number XXXXXXX in the first XFN series of these bikes. The frame and engine numbers are matching.Lots of old service docs, MOT's and parts receipts. Has the service book. The bike has had colour change many years ago and it??�s been resprayed last month in same scheme. I??�ve no idea what the original colours were. The respray is proper Xk job. The frame was likley powder coated or painted years ago, probably same time as the original respray. Ive not touched the frame so it could do with tidying up and have colour matched paint you can have if you want it.The frame, is totally intact, not butchered like some become. Rear footrest hangers are still there. Eligible for form of classic racing. Date of manufacture April XXXX. Mileage isn't guaranteed as it does not match up with the MOT history recorded. Does this matter with bike this old suppose that's personal preference Original screen and box of old (probably useless) parts come with it.I carried out "text vehicle check" on it before bought it and its not been written off or stolen but has had color change. The refurbishment of the bike has been extensive, pretty much everything has been touched apart from the engine internals.The Paint job is really good using BMW mineral white with RALXXXX neon red. This the red as per the XX's Yams and Mclaren Hondas. It has then been Xk cleared. have taken few diffferent pictures of the bike in different lights as its very difficult to get the colour to come through accurately. If you look at the photos which show it at its darkerst and less orangey then these are the more acccurate photos. The engine runs, carbs have been balanced, clutch works albeit bit rattly, gears all engage and disengage fine. If were keeping it would go through the engine but it runs as is. can??�t verify valve clearances and these probably want checking as part of an engine service. guess though that carb air fuel mixture needs attention, I'm prretty sure its running too rich at the moment. If get chance to get the bike to garage before end of listing then I'll have it done but otherwise that's job you'll need to have looked at.Just as an overview of whats already been done ;Entire bike cleaned up and all paint redone except frame.Tapered head race bearing re-greasedNew wheel bearings front and rearBraided hoses all roundStainless headers and Remus end can sounds brilliant (old can included in the box of old spares)New fork seals bushings and oil ??� XXX% original gas overs. No mods. New tyres front and rear (Bridegstone Battlax), New brake pads front and reear, new mater cylinder and new cylinder diaphragm, fluids.Replaced cutch cylinder and fluidNew rear shock linkage bearingLater tank with new lock. Tank sealed inside.Has manual timing chain adjuster ??� probably wants reverting to standard really but works as is. Oil, Plugs, Filters, Fuses and Battery all changed. Spray job is neon red (RALXXXX) over BMW Mineral White. The RALXXXX is as per the Marlboro Yamaha's and Honda McLarens of the XX's. The joins were fine lined, striped and then Xk cleared. If you are after classic bike that it is hoped will appreciate in value, something that you can do work on and also really stand out from the crowd then this might be for you. Its for sale at ??XXXX and think this is fair price for clean bike that looks as good as this and has had as much work done to it. Fully restored examples, of which have seen very nice ones for sale on ebay recently are going for ??XXXX plus. You could spend some time and really make it AX and have the coolest looking bike at the meet for the later in the year or you could probably get it through and MOT with couple of jobs and just do any jobs you want to do as you go along, its still head turner either way.The bike is now XX plus years old so clearly it comes with no warranty given or implied. As there are jobs left to do its being sold on the basis of spares or repairs but really it is too good for spares. It needs finishing, riding and showing off. Usual warnings please no time wasters have very little time to be dealing with dreamers and just to be clear, No wont post it, No overseas bidders buyers, No certainly would not use this as commuter bike, its way too old, its warm evening ride out bike or to the local meet. No, wont part ex your play station, No wont take ??xxx if its gone tonight No it hasn't got any warranty its XX plus years old its modern classic be preapred to get to know your tool box. wont negotiate by text message or email please just give me call and come and view it.
