The idea for thebuild was to mix bobber look with caf?� racer style which we think has workedout superbly well. The donor bike for the build was Suzuki GZXXX. Great bikefor its reliability, economy and ease to maintain. Another reason for choosingthis bike was because of its natural presence amongst other XXX?��s. Our job wasto amplify that presence by making it super sleek, agile and accentuate thegreat lines the bike has to offer while giving nod to the vintage history ofbobbers.The bikeis great runner and cut above the rest with regards its looks, most peoplecant quite believe it?��s XXX. The bodywork?��s mix ofsecond hand and made-from-scratch parts fabricated by TwinThing. The forks areoriginal but professionally polished to look better than they were when new,giving real shine to the front end. The front fender is from XXXX?��s HondaCBXXX that was adapted to fit nice and snug to the front wheel giving it itsfirst hint of vintage with the curved edges. The light at the front has beenchanged to triangular light to help compliment the different lines on thebike which has worked really well. As with most our builds keeping the bike asuncluttered as possible was high on the agenda. To achieve this, the naturalair filter was removed and replace with K&N style pod. Both side panelswere removed and where the battery sits custom made leather case was sowntogether in real leather which against the British racing green battery casingreally hits it off well. The handlebars were removed as were the clamps to givea fresh clean dash. To help achieve this, the top yoke was leveled down so thatthere are no engravings and then it was professionally metal polished. To contributeto the caf?� racer slant, CNC machined clip on?��s were the only choice while alsoenabling nice flow from the top end of the bike to the bottom end. The tankis original and kept for its size not only for looks but also economy (XXXmpg),it has been sandblasted and painted in British racing green to very highstandard. The saddle seat is custom made and covered in matching real leatheras the battery cover. No seat springs were used on this build to keep the lowprofile look, comfort is not affected as the rear shocks were kept. The rearmudguard has been especially fabricated to fit beautifully, sitting only Xcmaway from the wheel achieving compact but classic look. The swing arm hasbeen blasted and painted and any unwanted metal fixings such as the chain guardmounts have been cut off to keep it as minimalistic as possible. new rearnumber plate mount has been made and new LED rear light attached. Allindicators have been replaced with new chrome short bullet indicators makingthe bike narrower and sleeker. To achieve the grown up sound that the bike nowrequired XXinch cut off exhaust was fitted and wrapped in titanium exhaustwrap which really sets it off and with it produces real grumble that anyowner would be proud of. New tires at the front and rear with white walls onthe back making it look as cool as it does. It?��s great bike to ride and veryreliable, giving good balance of performance and pose. The riding position isgreat and comfortable as the bike has very low center of gravity.
