Very sad to be selling my XJXXXn Diversion, due to having knackered wrists, and needing the money.
Still, my loss will be someone else's gain?�� there's no reserve, and it's got to go, so no tyre kickers please! Located in Hitchin, just off junction of the AXM.
I've owned it since it only had Xk on the clock, back in XXXX, prior to which it had been garaged. had no garage, so expect bike that looks it's age plenty of little cracks and wear and tear. Mechanically, though, this bike is very sound. New pads, oil and filter and downpipes to get it through the last MOT, relatively unworn chain and sprockets and tyres (no more than XK). Mileage is genuine, so will be sorry to see it go.
Hasn't had good run for the last four or five months, so could do with good blat up the road. Still starts and runs just fine.
If you're looking for winter hack or something to courier through the winter, you couldn't do better. The engines are bullet proof, and mechanically it's good to go, even if it is bit tatty.
Worth noting that currently, ghetto-repair style, the downpipes are attached to the cans using Cobra Beercan Technology ?�? (as shown in the photo). Got it through the MOT, but there's slight blow letting off the jubilee clips, adding bit of gun gum and then retightening should do the trick nicely but if you have mate with welding kit more full-time repair would be easy.
Loads of MOT's and paperwork. MOT currently runs until XX/XX, so all good there. Bike currently declared SORN, so mighty be worth bringing what you need if you want to ride it away; which can confidently say you could do knowing you've got good bike under you.
