Firstly, thank you to everybody who bid on my initial listing, and will bid again. stopped that listing because there was to many faults in the listing & discription, and also, since first submiting the listing, which Ebay rules dont allow to be changed have since cleaned, inspected, replaced the battery and started the bike. When starting the bike after such long time of inactivity, she was hessitant at low rpm, smoking  from all three pipes, which did not clear, although was running premix fuel, as well as the auto-lube, as did not want to take chance on the oil pump not delivering ran the  engine till warm, went through the gears, then stopped the engine.
I bought the bike from friend years ago, in fairly poor condition, but as an original, straight, uk machine.I stripped the bike, and sent the main items off to specialists to have refurbished.Forks hard chromed, frame painted, carb kits, crank rebearing and seals, new pistons and rebore, wheels rebuilt s/s spokes, new tyres/tubes, brake pads/shoes, front hydraulics, electronic ignition, swing arm bearings, steer head bearings, chain and sprockets, seat recovered, etc.I semi rebuilt and ran out of time, so sent to Modern & Classic Bikes in Droitwich to have the machine finished. They re-chromed all the smaller parts, had the paintwork professionally resprayed in origional colour and decals, and built up to their normal high standard. collected the running machine from them. I stored the bike in my dehumidified garage, as got into vintage racing and stopped riding on the road.It will need recommisioning as it has not run for X/X years, carbs cleaned etc, before being put on the road.The KHXXX was such an iconic machine when was teenager, when this one came up for sale had to have it, love the sound  and looks of the bike, but as racing has taken over, need to raise enough money to compete next year, so it is with regret that have to put my triple up for sale.
