For sale is this XXXX Twinshock Husqvarna in either XXXcc speed manual or as speed XXXcc Automatic. needed spare bike for recent event in Italy on the Isle of Elba, if you want to search for it look for ITDE Elba XXXX.
The start of the project was XXXX Auto XXXWR which was in perfect running order but not the ideal bike for day race so removed the complete engine, exhaust,carb ect. and installed XXX WR motor. This engine was completely stripped, gearbox checked (all good), crank and conrod checked (all good) and then rebuilt with new main bearings, seals and gaskets. The barrel was taken for rebore and new Wossener piston fitted (Xnd oversize).  The whole lot reassembled into the XXX rolling chassis (both XXX and XXX are identical) then fitted my spare race wheels and Handlebar set up from my XXX HVA-Factory bike and off we went to Italy. The bike ran perfectly for the days with only new set of rear brake shoes needing fitting on day X.The end result was Xth in class and we won the Vase Team Trophy just to put the icing on the cake.There is Youtube film taken onboard the XXX so you can hear for yourself how good the motor is;http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/international-three-day-enduro-elba-italy-october-XXXX.XXXXX/page-X
The bike will be sold with the choice of either the XXX six speed or the XXX Auto fitted, the XXX is in at the moment but it's not big (or long) job to swap back. It will also have the original wheels and handlebars back on. The wheels are in very nice original condition with virtually new tyres on and the bars are Renthals which will be fitted with new grips. This bike is all original so does show its age with scuffs and scrapes but would happily take it on any event in the racing calendar confident that it will run and finish OK. Not lot of work would be needed to really bull it up powder coated frame and new plastics if you are that way inclined.
There are no registration documents with this bike so if you intend to use on the road you would have to apply for them, not too difficult am told but haven't tested the new system yet.
I am willing to sell this to anywhere in the UK, can be delivered for fee, please feel free to ask for quote, and also can be delivered to mainland Europe France, Germany, Italy for reasonable fee. Outside of Europe you must make your own shipping arrangements but will help with crating.
