This is my labour of love,previously my love of labour lol!!Ive decided or should say my Wife has decided need to sell this gorgeous vintageclassic early RXX BMW.
I bought her in boxes from guy in Ireland about months ago and its taken all this time to buidher up.Taken many hours and small fortune to get her up and running.She hadnt been started up since XXXX prior to my ownership and so an absolute joy when she fired up.
I have replaced many parts with old and new as many bits are now not made but good original qualitysecond hand parts are still available,at price!!
I am open to sensible offers but not going to give her away.Over ??XXXX as she stands and receipts to prove.Ive no reasson to doubt the mileage as all the internals were in good condition,compressionwas XXXppi on both cylinders.all gaskets and seals replaced when had the engine apart.The frame was professionally powder coated so looks great.Obviously there are scratches and marks on the paintwork but she is ALL original and so wortha great deal.These bikes are becoming very valuable and would make great collectors piece and/or lovelysummers evening ride out.
I had already sold the bike so hence the relisting.The chap turned up but the bike wouldnt start.Just fuel mixture(carb float problem).Im selling the bike without an MOT.I am having the carbs put through an ultrasound machine which is essential after being unused for XX odd years.apparently the petrol congeals after time and cloggs everything up.More expense but has to be done.The brakes will need bleeding and sorting but have found the reason why they dont work,the old hoses were blocked up with crystalised brake fluid,so all new hoses fixed now.

Ive ridden her to the local test station and was an absolute joy(apart from the odd missfire)and more powerful than thought.
