Beautiful, classic styling! Around town or on the road! Deep, throaty exhaust with lot of torque and power. As best can tell, this is just as it came out of the factory, plus 3088 miles of use. I'm no expert but it seems to ride, shift and brake as it should. FYI, the MSRP in 2008 was around $14,000. Tires look good and previous owner says it was serviced last season. didn't have it serviced when learned could not register in CA. I've been riding since 1967 and have owned 99 Road Star, which rode and enjoyed for many years, as well as several Gold Wings, etc. and this machine equals or surpasses any I've owned previously. The dry weight is approx. 774 lbs, so is not bike for beginner or lite-weight, unless you really want to challenge the laws of physics. I purchased this exceptional ride from seller in Colorado and trailered it home, last month. Now am told it can not be registered in the state of California, since it has only 3088 miles and is considered new vehicle. The emissions sticker says 50 state compliance, not California Compliant. This is their reasoning for not allowing registration here. Due to this fact, WILL NOT sell to California resident, without signed acknowledgement of the fact that Ca. will not register the vehicle. understand that active military may own and register in their home state, outside of California, and then operate it here. So, am putting it back up for sale! have put less than 10 miles on it, total, and it is basically in the condition purchased, with the following exceptions; 1) Laid down, mostly on me, while standing still, (Sand on asphalt) which did dimple the passenger foot board, not cracked, broken or bent 2) Three small brushing-type scrape marks on the top/left side of the front fender, incurred while parked in the garage. 3) There is no plate on the vehicle any more as the previous owner asked that it be removed. 4) Thumb-sized scuff, on windshield.I do NOT ship overseas at all! (Problems with customs, they have removed parts and then sent to receivers, less the parts they wanted). Any shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer, including all arrangements. will cooperate with your shipper, as best can, but I prefer the bike be picked up by the buyer, here in 29 Palms, in the Southern California high desert. It is beautiful time of year to ride it home! can be available nearly any day and any time to turn over your new ride.Serious buyers only! Please consider all factors, before bidding. Thank you.Need more pictures or information, just let me know and I'll get them to you as soon as possible, usually the following day. encourage anyone who is thinking of bidding to come and look at the bike, before buying, if possible. Just contact me for time! Thanks for looking and keep it in the wind! P.S., if you want to fly into Palm Springs, can pick you up and take you to the bike, in 29 Palms. No charge! Or, there's U-Haul in town that rents motorcycle trailers!
